Holiday Decorating Contest!!

Cypressdale is kicking off a new tradition! Starting Christmas 2025, the HOA will host annual holiday decorating contests for both Christmas and Halloween.

Each contest will award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place to homes that go above and beyond with creative, festive curb appeal.

Christmas 2025 – First Contest

Our first contest begins this year with Christmas decorating. Residents are encouraged to decorate their front yards and homes with lights, inflatables, wreaths, and other outdoor holiday decor.

Key details:

🎄 Holiday: Christmas
🏡 Eligible homes: Cypressdale residents in good standing
🥇 Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
🎁 Prizes: To be determined and announced by the HOA
🌐 Recognition: Winners will be featured on the HOA website and social media

Judging dates, times, and any additional details will be shared on the HOA website and via HOA communications as they are finalized.

Halloween Contest – Starting 2026

Beginning in 2026, Cypressdale will also hold a Halloween decorating contest, with the same 1st–3rd place awards and website/social recognition.

What judges look for:

Overall curb appeal from the street
Creativity and theme
Use of lights, color, and decor
Safety and neatness of the display

No separate sign-up is required unless otherwise announced. The judging committee will drive the neighborhood during the published judging window and select winners based on what they see from the street.
